Between the 26th and 30th of September, the “GREENOVET Meeting & Training” took place in Graz, Austria. This event brought together partners from the 4 regions (Leiria, Skopje, Vaasa and Graz), for a full week of meetings, visits, workshops and a lot of networking.
Partners were able to meet the partner organizations, participate in practical workshops, present the development of CoVEs, discuss the results obtained so far and what the next steps are. They were still able to meet in person to present the development of each work package.
On the first day they visit HTL BULME and the Green Tech Cluster, and attended the “Green Business Ideas“ presentation, by Green Tech Summer - a project of Green Tech Cluster that helps students from Austria to develop their first climate protection startup. The next day, the partners got to visit FH JOANNEUM and be welcomed by the Project Coordinator, Bojan Jovanovski, Doris Kiendl and Vitor Ferreira. In a debate led by Susanne Nielsen, from the European Training Foundation, we talked about the philosophy of CoVEs and the urgent need to change mindsets and be present on the green transition revolution.
Also, the International Committee meeting took place to evaluate the progress of the CoVEs in Skopje, Vaasa and Leiria, regarding the faced challenges, activities and expectations of the International Platform. The 3rd day continued with workshops, presentations and Project meetings at WIFI Steiermark to analyze the progress of the tasks over the last few months, what follows, the main challenges, how to overcome them and the results obtained. The 4th and last day was marked by several presentations on Evaluation by Julia Fellinger from 3S Consulting; Dissemination by Petra Moleiro from NERLEI; Sustainability by Lukas Zlattinger from WKO Stmk and Project management by the FHJ team. .
This is now the time to reflect on all of the knowledge and innovative ideas that have been shared between the partners and to plan strategies for the upcoming challenges.
